Had heard good things about this restaurant in the Venetian so decided to give it a try for dinner. The restaurant was fairly empty and instead of seating us with a view we were seated next to the only other couple at the time in the middle of the restaurant. Service was efficient and friendly. We ordered a Caesar salad (small) which was more than enough for the two of us, and a pepperoni and mushroom pizza. The salad was really fresh and very tasty. The pizza was good but you pretty much had to eat it with a fork as the crust was too thin and floppy. With a glass of wine and a beer it was a pretty expensive meal ($+). Wish they would charge less for the salad and make it an actual smaller size. All in all the food was good and as the evening progressed more people were seated right around us. Did not understand the logic behind this.

Anyone's first time to Las Vegas is an exciting experience, my experience with my first Las Vegas meal was sub par with a "New York" style pizza that was unfoldable and as hard as the stone it was cooked on. Consistency is important for any restaurant and it being an empty restaurant on a Friday night should have resulted in a near perfect slice. Burnt bottoms, poorly stretched and bubbled pizza just screams inconsistency issues and not caring. Our extra pie was perfect, so I knew then that a good pie was possible. The sauce and toppings tasted excellent and if you like some spice, try the hot honey pizza. The wait staff was excellent. The restaurant looked nice and the pictures were nice to look at. Hoping that my next visit isn't met with the same end result.

Had the margarita pizza.I've been to the Grimaldi's in Brooklyn; and when I compare it to the one here, the service is much better. Jamison was great. He always checked up on us and got me in and out quickly, which I wanted. The food is a different story. The cheese and crust was great, but unfortunately, the sauce was too watered down.Margarita or traditional pizza is the base of all the other pizzas sold here. If it is not good then the other pizzas are not going to be good.

Was really wanting to love this place but fell short. The service was friendly and efficient but the pie just wasn’t for me. I had a ” Traditional with Pepperoni and fresh mushrooms. I had the pie cooked crispy, which was done to my liking, but just lacked overall flavor that I was expecting for a coal - fired oven or a Brooklyn NY style pie. Wasn’t really crazy about the sauce either, but is a personal thing. Overall the pie was ok, have never been to the original location, so I really had nothing to compare it to, as of the Grimaldi’s name.
